freezer.
Of all the cases that get reported is just the tip of the iceberg. In 2006 there were 3,453 cases added to www.pet-abuse.com. This number does not reflect the amount of occurrences happening each year. Its much more. If you have the ability to take a desperate animal into your custody than what are you waiting for. This is your chance to make a difference. At an animal shelter in your local area are pets that are waiting love and attention and need a home. If no one claims them they get euthanized regardless of how young or healthy they may be. In 2008 there were over 3 million dogs and cats euthanized. This year there is even more because of economic downturn. When I went into a local shelter there was a lot of puppies and kittens. Owner’s pets give birth to pups and they can’t find homes for them so they drop them off at shelters. This is why it’s important to keep your pets neutered or spayed.
I have taken the opportunity to visit an animal shelter in Warrensburg, MO and found a few pets that would make a wonderful addition to the family and most certainly do not deserve to live in a cage. By the way where I live in Vancouver, BC they are trodding and crushing old dogs from the pound to death, hah, hows that for a rush hour left over, hot doggie, my neighbors kill a dog a day on their diet, and I have quite a few neighbors who do that in fact, where do the dogs come from? Somewhere, why is there an spca and so much animal cruelty like I can’t digest it all, not one place do I visit in this cheery town when someone is not stampeding a poor old dog to death, I try leaving my apartment and going to the gym to take my ablutions and guess what right on top at the Sun Tanning store at the Kitsalano Gym lo and behold someone who just used the gym with his firm rocket legs is pouncing to death some poor doggie, now why would they do that, I don’t know maybe they’re looking for their identity as there are seemingly big clubs of the sort who trod on dogs, its a long story, too long and not a happy one Im afraid, so if you want to know more…

I hope these dogs all go to heaven, I once saw the dog one of these neolithic men was trouncing he was in a plastic bag and I could see his quadrapads as he threw him in the dumpster, then I went to the dumpster and the metal of the cart was undulating with the dog inside, I figured it was his ghost in confusion as why did somebody kick me to death, its a long story but keep your pets away from strangers and wish I had an army to trod these dog abusers.

Just in case some of us don’t quite understand where all the unwanted pets who deposit in the dog pounds go from there, I have a whole backyard (figuratively speaking) of rejected dogs from the dog pound by people who want to exploit their hides by abusing them through stomping on them till their bones and flesh folds up just to annoy me myself and I, if nobody is willing to pay attention to the hundreds of screaming moaning dogs around this area well have a nice day and don’t worry, maybe death isn’t so bad if you go quietly in the night.

Now that we’re in the 21st Century and we are all so free and wonderful humans caught up in our betterments for the future and although every now and then something strangely sardonic falls through the wayside no worries everything gets back to normal again with a smile a pat on your shoulders from the big boss and your favorite apple strudel, but the trouble is how far away can you afford to look away and eventually it will catch up with you, when you don’t know where all your hard earned tax monies are going, why the sky is congested with CO2, why all the fish are dying, why children are starving, why animals are being crushed to death each day in the wondrous city of Vancouver.
